So with summer and Christmas have finally here, you are not the only one stressing about how to entertain your teenage children during school holidays. We have made things easier with a list of fun and more importantly time-consuming activities for you to do this summer break.
Perth Wake Park – Lot 482 St Albans Rd, Baldivis
Catering to all levels of experience, this is the only cable wakeboard park in Western Australia. All gear can be hired and they even add obstacles to the water for those more daring riders. All you have to do is strap on some gear and kneel down or stand up and let the cable do the rest.
Holey Moley – 53 Lake St, Northbridge
I am sure you have all heard that Holey Moley is the newest addition to Perth’s family-friendly activity scene. With 9, 18 and 27 holes we would recommend booking in advance. With very unique putting greens and restaurants in the surrounding area, this will keep you entertained for hours.
Adventure World – 351 Progress Dr, Bibra Lake
Adventure world is Perth’s only theme park. Undergoing major redevelopments since opening in 1982 this adventure/water park is a must see while here in Perth. With rides like the ‘Kraken’ the longest, tallest and steepest Tornado 60 water slide of its kind on the planet and the Goliath, the latest in stationary pendulum ride design in Australia, your teenage children will not want to leave.
The Big Wedgie – Sir James Mitchell Park, Mill Point Rd, South Perth.
Are you ready to be wedgied? The worlds tallest inflatable water slide is an adventure packed day out with the family and friends. Open from 10 am – 7 pm every day it is located on the beautiful South Perth foreshore. They have four wedgie levels to choose from, so why not cool down this summer with some splashing fun.
Bounce – 1371 Albany Highway Cannington
Bounce is a great way to keep the children entertained and they get physical exercise while you sit, relax and have a coffee. With more than 50 interconnecting trampolines, slam dunk and dodgeball area.
Elemental Kite Surf SUP – Point Walter & Leighton Beach
Hire a paddleboard from only $30 an hour and get out and explore the river. Lessons are also on offer for those requiring a little extra know-how.
Donnie Tacos – 66 Kings Park Rd West, Perth
Only open during the weekdays, Donnie Tacos is a new establishment located on Kings Park Rd. They serve delicious tacos such as pulled pork and jackfruit for the vegetarians. With a basketball court at the ready, you can play 3 vs 3 basketball with other athletes. You can even enter a 3 on 3 competition and win some awesome prizes.
