The DoubleTree By Hilton has just opened in January and is the first Doubletree property in Western Australia. The hotel is located in Northbridge, Perth’s cultural district, packed with restaurants and nightlife, and is a short walk from the city centre shopping, Yagan Square and the Perth Arena entertainment venue.
Quay Perth, formerly the New Perth Esplanade hotel
The Quay Perth Hotel is currently undergoing a massive transformation to become an 80 room boutique hotel. Perfectly positioned to take in the beautiful Swan River, the boutique hotel is set to open in mid-2019 with a rooftop restaurant and bar among it’s facilities.

Looking Ahead To Developments Coming in 2020 and Later
The New Museum for Western Australia is set to open in 2020 in the heart of the Perth Cultural Centre, in Northbridge. The museum will have a dramatic new design, linking contemporary architecture with the historic and heritage-listed buildings and a desire to share the stories and places of Western Australia.
This fantastic new development, just east of the city (next to On the Point) on the Swan River will open up the east side of the city to the Swan River. With riverfront retail and water-based community facilities, this development launching the first stage in 2021, will make the Swan River a community hub.
