Bickley Valley Harvest Festival 2019

4 May @ 8:00 am - 5 May @ 5:00 pm

Celebrate harvest time in the Bickley-Carmel Valley as the region comes to life under the autumn leaves. Explore the hills and sample all the mouth-watering produce of the Bickley-Carmel Valleys including award-winning wines, cider, delicious food and farm fresh fruit from the trees.

This year 17 fantastic venues will be participating in the festival. We suggest checking out the Bickley Valley Festival social media channels to see what’s on and where.

Bickley Harvest Hop-On Hop-Off Shuttle Bus

Yes, Explore Tours Perth will once again be putting on our fantastic free Shuttle Bus service – travelling regularly between some of the participating venues during both days. This year, there will be 3 shuttle buses.

How often will the buses run?
The buses will be running on a circuit every approximately 30 minutes from 9:50am from the Zig Zag Cultural Centre with the last round of pickups commencing at 4pm. Please note these times are approximate due to the nature of traffic, delays etc.

We recommend leaving your car in Kalamunda, and there is a handy carpark right next to the Zig Zag Cultural Centre.

Which Bickley Valley venues do the buses run between?

  • Zigzag Cultural Centre
  • Carldenn Homestead Wines
  • Lawnbrook Estate And The Packing Shed
  • New Leaf Gallery
  • Hainault Vineyard And Cafe (opens at 11am both days)
  • Core Cider House
  • Due Jolly
  • La Fattoria (opens at 11am – both days)
  • Carmel Cider
  • Fairbrossen Cafe And Winery
  • Tonon Vineyard And Winery
  • Myattsfield Vineyard
  • Plume Estate Vineyard (opens at 11am – both days)

Getting To The Bickley Valley

The Bickley Valley is only half an hour east of Perth City in the beautiful rolling hills and valleys of the Perth Hills. Self-driving is probably the easiest way to get to the Bickley Valley and is only a short drive from the City of Perth.

Public Transport:
To get to Kalamunda from Perth City will take approximately an hour. Catch the train on the Midland Train line to Midland Station followed by bus 297 to Kalamunda. Visit Transperth for more information and train timetable.
